What Is RiRiBadu ? Hint It will change your life...

What is #RiRi Badu you might ask ? It's something that will change your damn life?
Quoting 50 cent "Rihanna has the same  thing that Erykah Badu has it will change your life",

ASAP Rocky during an interview explained how he understands how dudes fall into the Rihanna trap..."She's cool as hell, shes attractive, she smokes and like to have fun".
You hang out with her and you start seeing a future and Sh*t when she just having fun.

I mean we all witnessed the transformation and almost total annihilation of chris brown due to his relationship and how that even had allegedly Chris fighting Drake and Bey looking at Jay kind of funny.

Erykah Badu and Rihanna's sex appeal is through the roof but they also seem to have ideologies and outlooks on life that leave men hooked . I mean we could look at a before and after of men that got into relationships before and after Erykah Badu and its like whoa what happened bruh???? Examples

We all saw Mr. 3000 transform into the artist he is now and its in no small part because of this woman

Common made a huge transformation as well just look at him.

Peeps been waiting for a full Jay Electronica album for years but it seems like he's just Drunk texting Erykah

Well now you know what RiriBadu is...Have grown men throwing bottles in the club drunk tweeting etc etc. With all this being said i personally am still madly infatuated with Rihanna and Erykah Badu and given the opportunity to get hmmm intimate with these two woman I promise I'd give my best like straight Excorcist D*ck lol...check my new song dedicated to these female goddess/ succubus/ conquers/my future baby moms (jke) (Deadserious) (jke). Its called RiRiBadu slight nudity so be safe

NEW BOBBY SHMURDA

How can I lose ? Bobby's verse its kind of dope tho.
What Ya'll Think?

A Tragedy in Song: “Hot Nigga” by Bobby Shmurda

A Tragedy in Song: “Hot Nigga” by Bobby Shmurda

About a week ago, as I enjoyed abnormally slow Starbucks Wi-Fi, two young women walked up to my friends and me. They had a question that I did not expect until after it was asked. It was a cultural question composed of so many layers that I doubt they understood. I’m sure they failed to understand ONLY through lack of trying. That one question opened my already ponderous mind to a sea of worrisome thoughts. What was this awful question?

“Hey, can you guys teach us the Shmoney dance?”

Now, before (or after) you chuckle at how ridiculous my predicament was, understand that the song “Hot Nigga” had been on my mind for awhile. Not only because of how catchy it was or how infectious the featured Schmoney dance is. See, the song had plagued my thoughts because I couldn’t help but view it differently that most of the 8,000,000+ other viewers of it at the time. A fun song to a hot beat with a smooth dance. A terrible display of poor lyricism. A sign of Hip-Hop’s decline. However it was viewed by most, I’m sure my view was largely different. I saw, and continue to see, the song as a tragedy. It arouses the same emotions as Mufasa’s death in The Lion King or the moment Jack succumbs to the cold Atlantic waters in Titanic. When I first saw the dance and heard the song in a viral Vine video, I expected to criticize the song as idiocy, while simultaneously dancing along to the ignorance. In fact, I did just that. I naturally flowed into the Shmoney Dance and hit it all throughout the song. That is, until I opened my ears as I sometimes do when I listen to this type of music.

I was struck with sadness when I realized that Bobby Shmurda, the originator of the song, in his attempt to create a blazing end-of-summer hit song had actually written one of the saddest songs I had heard in quite awhile. Don’t believe me? Cut the beat and remove the dance. Change the tone a bit and tell me that I’m wrong…

“In Truey, I’m some hot nigga

Like I talk to Shyste when I shot niggas

Like you seen him twirl then he drop, nigga

And we keep them 9 millis on my block, nigga

And Monte keep it on him, he done dropped niggas

And Trigger he be wilding, he some hot nigga

Tones known to get busy with them Glocks, nigga

Try to run down and you can catch a shot, nigga

Running through these checks ’til I pass out

And shorty give me neck ’til I pass out

I swear to God, all I do is cash out

And if you ain’t a ho, get up out my trap house”

The first eight lines recount how a 20-year old and his friends routinely kill others. I understand the bravado and machismo praised in hip-hop, so I let these lines slide off my conscience. I’ll get back to them later. What I did find frustrating were the last three lines. The abrupt transition from “murder” to money and sex. No need to even transition or relate these lines to what was said before. Imagining someone writing these lines puzzled me and, in an odd way, invited me into Shmurda’s mind. I wanted to empathize with this dude. The very next line was actually the first line that I really listened to.

“I been selling crack since like the 5th grade

Really never made no difference what the shit made

Jaja taught me flip them packs and how to maintain

Get that money back and spend it on the same thing

Shorty like the way that I ball out

I be getting money ’til fall out

You talking cash, dog, I goes all out

Shorty love the way that I floss out.”

“I been selling crack since like the 5th grade.” That’s 10, maybe 11 years old. I stopped my Shmoney Dance and just said “Damn.” I thought to myself: “If you turned the beat off and just listened to these words, you would see the tragedy in them.” Whether or not this is HIS reality, I don’t know. But I’m sure that it is someone’s reality. I thought of an article titled “10 Things Your 10 Year-Old Shouldn’t Be Doing” on the site iMom. It made me think about how drastically different Shmurda’s world (or his character’s world) is than what most would consider possible or acceptable (by acceptable, I mean allowed to persist) in America. 10 Year-olds shouldn’t “be drinking sugary drinks” or “have unrestricted access to social media.” This 10 Year-old was selling drugs. To blame a 10 Year-old for his environment would miss the point, which I will get to in a minute.

“Free Greezy though, let all of my dogs out

Momma said no pussy cats inside my dog house

That’s what got my daddy locked up in the dog pound

Free Phantom though, let all of my dogs out”

It’s amazing how intimate these lyrics are when you actually ingest them rather than dance them away. Incarceration is a reality in Shmurda’s life. In fact, he’s no stranger to it, having been placed in juvenile detention before. Prison and Jail were not abstract oddities to me growing up either, but the tone with which he recounts loss of a father and friends to the prison system moves me to sadness.

“And bitch if it’s a problem we gon’ gun brawl

Shots popping out the AR

I’m with Trigger, I’m with Rasha, I’m with A-Raw

Broad daylight and we gon’ let them things bark

Tell them niggas free Meeshie, ho

Some way, free Breezy, ho

And tell my niggas, Shmurda teaming, ho

Mitch caught a body ’bout a week ago, week ago

Fuck with us and then we tweaking, ho – tweaking, ho

Run up on that nigga, get to squeezing, ho – squeezing, ho

Everybody catching bullet holes – bullet holes

Niggas got me on my bully, yo – bully, yo

I’m a run up, put that gun on ‘em – gun on ‘em

I’m a run up, go dumb on ‘em – dumb on ‘em

Niggas got me on that young shit – young shit

Got me on that go dumb shit – dumb shit”

The rest of the song is a visceral narration of the violence that he and his team gleefully inflict upon their enemies. The upfront nature with which these activities are conveyed show that they are simply a part of his story and not some metaphorical example of machismo and toughness that is integral to hip-hop. I make this distinction because it is often used to dismiss the positive power of hip-hop in teaching literary techniques and, in turn, utilized to condemn the art as nothing more than glorification of real violence. Thus, Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot Nigga” is both a problem and a chance to see the road to solutions. It is both garbage rap and a tragedy over catchy beats and an irresistible dance.

If only my view were more popular. If only more people wanted to understand “Hot Nigga” and not just the dance that made the song so popular. Maybe then, we’d cry for Bobby and the thousands of youngsters like him as we cried for Simba when he lost his father. Maybe then, we’d root for them to become Kings, of sort, rather than condemn them for simply being lost on a dirty and damaged world that they didn’t create.

If only the dance could tell that story, since the words fell upon deaf ears.

God Of War IV Confirmed for PS4 (Athena is Lucifer/ Kratos Vs Rah And Egyptian Gods)

The God of War 4 release date has been confirmed and the plot could feature Kratos fighting Athena who teams up other religious deities to beat him if the fan theories prove true.

Gaming news Cyberland reported that The God of War 4 release date has been tentatively set to September 2015 and it can be expected to see the game to be showcased at E3 2015.
Rumors are circulating that God of War 4 could feature Kratos fighting other religious deities such as the Egyptian gods.

While there has been no confirmation from Sony that God of War 4 would feature Kratos fighting other religious deities, fans have suggested that the story of God of War hints that there could be other gods as speculated by user "Lexph3re" on VG24/7:

"None of the gods in god of war are anything like their folklore counterparts. Even Athenas "Ascension" is a key point towards their being a possibility of different variants of the spiritual plane. That the Patheon were merely physical in their interpretation and that they can ascend. Which means what? Dun duh duh duuuunnnnnn! Deities of other spiritual focus."

User "clupula" even made up a scenario on how God of War 4 could happen:
"Make it a SEQUEL to GOWIII, where Kratos ends up killing the Norse or Egyptian pantheon. I've said for the longest time, it's a no brainer how to start the next trilogy. Have Kratos trying to live a peaceful life in some new region, as he cannot die, and Athena appears to one of the other pantheons and explains that Kratos is a murderer of gods and if they do not kill him, he will surely kill them. The game starts."

"Ending, after Kratos has killed this pantheon, it is revealed that GOWIII Athena was not Athena at all, but Lucifer trying to clear the way for the current Judeo-Christian religions by killing the old gods and using Kratos as a tool."

7 Reasons Hip Hop Has NO Billionaires!

When it was announced that Apple was acquiring Beats for $3 Billion, the hip hop blogosphere exploded with talks of Dre being hip hop’s first billionaire. Being the nerd that I am and having followed the acquisitions of tech companies like Instagram and Whatsapp, I understood that there were finer financial intricacies at play than cutting a check for 25% (Dre’s stake in Beats) of $3.2 Billion (The initial Beats sale price to Apple). After the dust settled and the acquisition was complete, Dre’s  post-Apple net worth was estimated to be in the neighborhood of $780 Million; leapfrogging him over Hov and Diddy, but still putting him more than $200 Million shy of the billion dollar mark.

As inspiration often strikes me, it was a heated debate between two grown @$$ men in the barbershop arguing about another man’s pockets that prompted me to tackle the idea of why Hip Hop has no billionaires. Before I dive into this topic though, I would like to start by clarifying that the phrase “Hip Hop’s first billionaire" doesn’t imply someone that has made a billion dollars from hip hop but instead someone who found success in hip hop and graduated to greater business endeavours. With no further delay, let's get to the list.

7. Hip Hop is a hustle - In hip hop we promote a culture of hustling instead of business building. We prefer to juug and focus on the quick lick than build lasting success. You can ultimately hustle up a million dollars, but hitting that billion dollar mark takes a little more than finessing. It requires solid business foundations.

6. Hip Hop devalues its most important asset - The true wealth of the music industry has always been in intellectual property; not record sales, tours, etc. It’s the legal monopoly over your masters and brand. Hip hop has devalued the worth of its masters with the constant release of mixtapes and free music. We have moved to a paradigm of “Let me get hot so I can get this show money.” Publishing and the administration of your IP (intellectual property) will bring you in money long after the shows stop. As technology evolves, so do licensing opportunities.

5. Rappers have poor brand value - Another part of intellectual property I mentioned in the last paragraph is Brand. There are few strong brands being built in hip hop. Today’s rappers derive their value from external sources, be it luxury cars, liquors or clothing lines. They freely promote other people’s businesses to build brand value by association. That’s part of the reason you can go into walmart and buy a Van Halen or AC/DC t-shirt and not find a single one for a hip hop group.

4. Lack of Diversification in Investing - We don’t invest outside of Barbecue and Barbershops. OK...not literally, but there are a set of investments that rappers deem “safe”. Rappers start labels, studios, restaurants, nightclubs, real estate and businesses that they’ve seen other rappers succeed with. Hip hop doesn’t invest its money into new sectors such as technology or commodities. All of the hip hop cash kings have seen substantial boosts in their net worth from areas not considered traditional investments for hip hop (Rocawear, Beats by Dre, Ciroc, etc).
3. Market Share Scavengers - At some point these exact situations have happened in hip hop… Someone asks, “He made how much off an energy drink???” and 100 rappers launch energy drinks! Someone asks, “He made how much off headphones???” and 50 Rappers launch headphones. Someone asks, “They made how much off their liquor endorsement???” and 1,000 Rappers launch or endorse liquor brands. Rather than seeking out new and profitable investment opportunities, hip hop has a culture of financial “Biting”. Rappers emulate another rapper's successful moves, often after the market leader has been determined and the window of opportunity has closed.

2. We’d Rather Look Good Losing Than Look Bad Winning! - Hip hop has developed a culture of excess spawned from poverty. Juvenile said it best on 400 Degreez… “Actin’ like a n---- that aint neva had s---.” Most rappers never achieve success in the music industry because they’d rather spend their budgets looking successful than being successful. The ones that do hit upon success, squander the opportunity to build generational wealth because they spend money flexin’ and keeping up appearances, often returning back to “poverty”.

1. Racism - Ummmm… Up until recently, Hip Hop has been a predominantly black dominated genre of music. Take into account that of the nearly 1200 billionaires on the planet, only 9 are black, and outside of Oprah Winfrey, none are American or have built their fortunes on entertainment. One does not merely build a billion dollar net worth through hard work. Wealth at this level is the result of opportunity and strategic partnerships. But what happens when those opportunities and partnerships are denied or not offered to you because of your ethnicity or cultural background? Well… You spaz out on your friend Sway. Consider for a second that it was in fact destined for Kanye to transition into fashion becoming the next Ralph Lauren and hip-hop’s first billionaire, but the possibility was snuffed out by an industry that doesn’t respect blacks or hip hop culture. Nike will gladly let Ye design a shoe and use his brand to sell it for exorbitant prices, but it doesn’t deem him valuable enough to let him sit at the table and get a royalty on those sales.

Of all the reasons I’ve outlined above, the only one we can’t do anything about is racism. The other six speak solely to the values of hip hop culture. I hope to not just see hip hop’s first billionaire some day but to see the first of many. I hope to see more hustlers evolve into businessmen and place a greater value on finances than flossing. I hope to see more entrepreneurs in the urban market broaden their horizons to investment opportunities beyond hip hop and urban culture, or at least capitalize on opportunities that cater to our culture in new ways. Consider for a second that RapGenius.com (a website whose sole purpose was explaining the lyrics of rap music) just raised $40 Million in investment capital, giving it a rumored valuation around $400 Million, but I haven’t heard of a single rapper that's invested into the company. Another great example is IDLM, the company behind Datpiff.com. I know plenty of artists that spend thousands of dollars posting and promoting mixtapes on their website, but not a single one that owns stock in this publicly traded company. So while there is much conversation about whether Dre, Hov or Diddy will be Hip Hop’s first Billionaire, let's continue to lay a foundation so that whomever it is, is not also the last.
