Chris Brown was arrested today (March 14) for allegedly
violating his probation, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The singer was apprehended in Malibu, California by Los
Angeles County sheriff’s deputies for violating his probation related to his
2009 conviction for assaulting Rihanna, whom he was dating. Brown was arrested
at the facility where he was undergoing anger management rehab and is being
held in Los Angeles without bail.
The report does not say how Brown is accused of violating
his probation.
In October, he was arrested for felony assault after
allegedly attacking a man outside of a hotel.
The singer was reportedly approached at approximately 4:30
am by two women who wanted to take a picture with him in front of the W Hotel
in Washington, D.C., according to law enforcement. When two men attempted to
get into the photo, Brown allegedly used a gay slur before allegedly throwing a
punch at the alleged victim.
In November, the Virginia native was sentenced to a 90-day
anger management rehab program, which also included community service and drug
tests.
