J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Lead Single: Apparently
Avg Rating: Five Stars
Once upon a time, every big-name album release was preceded
by weeks, if not months of hype and several heavily-promoted singles. Today,
blockbuster LPs are just as likely to drop out without warning and blow up
virally—#NewRules, indeed.
With his junior full-length, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, Carolina phenom J. Cole has embraced the unorthodox marketing strategies of his mentor, Jay Z; though he was nice enough to announce the project in advance, no singles were released prior to its arrival (so long as you don't count the visuals for "Intro" as a single). Not a single guest appears on the 13-track set, which follows 2013's acclaimed Born Sinner.
Cole himself handles production, along with Cardiak, CritCal, !llmind, Phonix Beats,Willie B., Vinylz and more.

I Give It Five Stars....Something I Value in Rap Artist is honesty. J. Cole keeps it all the way one hunnit...The Production is Lit and maybe i'm bias cause I live the life his music portrays so when I hear the authenticity I nod my head and say this Sh*t Fire.
