Cavaliers and Heat Asked Not to Use "Three-Goggles" Gesture in Brazil

Throwing on a pair of "three-goggles" has become a bit of a tradition for a lot of sharpshooters in the NBA. It says, "Yes, I just knocked down a three right in your grill," without any words. But when the Cavaliers and Heat play a preseason game down in Brazil this weekend, you will probably not see any players putting their "three-goggles" on.

According to reports, both teams have been asked not to use "three-goggles" during their 2014 NBA Global Games matchup on Saturday because the "three-goggles" gesture is apparently a gesture that means "fuck you" or "fuck off" in Brazil. And obviously, the NBA doesn't want to offend any Brazilian fans who come to the game, so they have reportedly asked players to refrain from using the gesture. That doesn't mean that they won't do it anyway. But it does mean that the NBA is going to be keeping a close eye on whether or not anyone does it.

Hear that, LeBron?
