Dallas Preacher Threatens Kendrick Lamar, Jeezy with Lawsuit After ‘Holy Ghost’ Sample

Earlier this month Kendrick Lamar added a verse to Jeezys triumphant Holy Ghost. Now the songs been removed from Youtube and Spotify.

Why? An impending lawsuit from a Dallas preacher.
The song begins with an exhortative sample of a speech by T.D. Jakes, a televangelist bishop: I got some chatter, but Im still on fire. I got some threats, but Im still on fire.

Now hes got a lawyer, too.
According to a post on Jakes Facebook page, The Holy Ghost remix by Jeezy featuring Kendrick Lamar was produced without the knowledge or consent of T.D. Jakes.

Jakes continues: We are taking the necessary legal actions to stop the unauthorized use of T.D. Jakes intellectual property.
Last week Lamars spokesperson Ray Alba told Dallas News that he had no knowledge of any lawsuit.

Jeezys Seen It All, which includes a Lamar-less version of Holy Ghost, is out now
