JAY Z IS BUYING HOT 97

Jay Z is reportedly part of a group in negotiations to purchase New York radio station Hot 97, according to MediaTakeOut.com.

The website cites an unnamed "rock solid source" as saying the hip-hop mogul is part of a consortium that's in discussions to buy the legacy radio station. New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony is also reportedly also part of the group involved in the negotiations.

WQHT Hot 97 is currently owned by Emmis Communications and is one of its flagship radio properties. Its DJ personalities include Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, Miss Info and Funkmaster Flex.

Lets follow the timeline of SUS behavior from JAY courtesy of the big homie Fedel BD

- 2 years ago flex does an interview with life and times (jays website).

- the interview is supposed to be about flex's legacy. However the interviewed asked a lot of questions about Flex's digital app and it's technology (the one that allows u to download album links straight to ur phone and listen). The interviewer also does not work for life and times but is a "tech freelancer" (suspect).

- months later the article drops and none of the questions about the app are in the article when published.

- few months after that, MCHG is released via the life and times app and samsung using the same technology that the flex app uses. Flex knows he was bit, but he lets it rock...says nothing.

- for years he's told to not play any Dipset music at events (more sus behavior and hating honestly). He obliges and stays quiet. But now around New Years he gets an email from life and times asking what's his involvement with the dips and how did they pull the shows together??? Flex is not stupid. He realizes this is another attempt at Jay and his team to probe flex's marketing/tech plans and see what they can get from it. Logically speaking it makes sense because if u have banned me from playing dips for years, why would u care about what I'm doing with them? Also there's no interview being set up to support the reunion. On ur site...so why are u asking me about dips?

- flex has had enough and airs it out. He then gets a text saying "This Is Hov" after Jay attempted to send messengers over to hot to give him a messge. U might say it doesn't matter that it was in all caps, but to a OG like flex it does. End of the day remember this...juicy (biggie Song) came out in 1994...2 years before reasonable doubt...years before Jay was even thought about. And on THAT song biggie is saying he grew up listening to flex. That shows u how long flex been in the game and running things are far as NYC radio. He respects him of course but he said it perfect "there's more than one boss in this city, we don't all work for u".

There's a few ppl who can pull Jay card (Russell, Puff, Flex) like dudes that was that nigga before Jay was anyone...so I guess ya man basically saying don't send for me like I'm some lil dude. I respect it man. Be the best rapper (which he WITHOUT A DOUBT IS) but u still a man at the end of the day, so another man can let u know when u disrespected him, ESEPCAILLY when he's let it slide mad times before.
