Drake 2 Far Gone (So Far Gone Part 2)

All The rumors seem to be true.

Feb 13th, 2015.

Drake is not only dropping a new mixtape but it we be a sequel to the mixtape that made him famous. So Far Gone had massive hits on it including "Best You Ever Had', "Uptown" Feat Lil Wayne & Bun B, "Congratulations" , "Lil Bit", "Say Whats Real" (Kanye West Say You Will Remix) and "Successful" Feat Trey Songz, just to name a few tracks. So Far Gone was so successful even though it was a free mixtape it still sold over a million copies when it was re-released officially as an album.

The tape was so popular it almost won Drake a grammy...let that marinate. Drake was nominated for grammy off a freaking mixtape. We all know the Grammy's doesn't have the best relationships with hip hop artist and the selections and winners
can be flat out wrong (example Macklemore beating Kendrick Lamar). For Drake to even be nominated for a grammy off a mixtape  says a lot about how good it actually was.

Drake could be using the name as a ploy to gain hype and attention, but imagine if he can capture lightning in a bottle twice. People seem to forget the fact that Drake has been on top of the rap  game as head honcho now for almost eight years. Drake has not only been consistent but he's been improving which is scary. He also has been branching out and flexing his muscles in all areas, this includes building his own label and brand OVO sounds, with break artist like P Reign, Ilovemakonen, and OB O'Brian. Drakes been getting use out of his Degrassi acting roots by acting and hosting events like the ESPY's and even breaking into fashion with sneaker deals with Jordan and expanding the OVO clothing line. If that wasn't enough Drake has been also representing the Toronto Raptor's as an ambassador for the team and  has even had a hand in designing the new uniforms and logos.

2 Far Gone if it lives up to the hype will be almost a victory lap for and a warm up to his upcoming Album "Views From the 6". We'll see if the rumors are true this friday. If it is you already know you can find it here @ thisisblaine.blogspot.com. For now check up some of Drakes best moments and videos...
