Coolin Cam is a rapper from Uptown Harlem and his latest track "My Story" illustrates the struggle that young men of color face growing up in poverty. Everyday young black men in America face an uphill battle in a country that is designed to suppress,repress and oppress them. The invisible ceilings, discreet racism the constant tension between inner city youth and the cops, gangs & drugs all contribute to Cams track My Story.
My Story is gritty and dark but most importantly its honest. True to the NY standards of creativity and originality and style of Hip Hop My Story definitely has that New York Swag.
